Food in Italy seems so blessed that even Pope Francis misses going out for pizza. But the country’s acclaimed olive oil and Parmigiano-Reggiano are under threat by climate change, imitators and natural disasters. Producers in Italy say imitation products in the U.S. are threatening their livelihood.
