The Pentagon announced that it may send heavy weapons, including tanks, to the Baltic region. Moscow has responded that it will match such moves with “swift” action to fortify its western border. The U.S. has not sent military aid to Eastern Europe on such a scale since the collapse of the Soviet Union. We’ll talk about the Cold War-styled brinksmanship with Ivo Daalder, president of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He is also a former U.S. Ambassador to NATO. Daalder joins us from Vienna.
