Violence spreading in South Sudan

There is growing concern that South Sudan may be on the verge of civil war. There are some estimates that as many as 500 people may have been killed in recent days. President Obama has said the country "stands at the precipice," and he has called on rival political leaders to find a compromise to avoid greater bloodshed.
