An independent investigation has found that emotional abuse and sexual misconduct were “systemic” in women’s professional soccer.

The report focuses on allegations toward three coaches in the National Women’s Soccer League, including the Chicago Red Stars former head coach Rory Dames, who left the team at the end of 2021.
