Happy Bike to Work Week!

This week is “Bike to Work Week” in Chicago.

Randy Warren of the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation says biking is not only good for people physically and mentally, but good for the city as well. He says biking to work is easier than people might think.

“Once they try it, they’ll realize, ‘Wow that was a lot of fun!’ or, ‘That wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be!’ or, ‘I’m gonna do that more often.’ Then it’ll start to create that habit. When people start riding their bikes to work, that’s what changes things,” he says.

Warren says CTA buses and trains are bike accessible for people with longer commutes.
