Farrakhan's Illness Raises Questions of Succession

Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan announced last month he was stepping down, temporarily, as leader of the religious movement due to a serious medical condition.

He said the group’s executive board would run the Nation on a daily basis while he was recovering from complications due to prostate cancer treatment.
