The Chicago Bulls say Vinny Del Negro will be the team’s new head coach. Del Negro is the Phoenix Suns’ assistant general manager. It’s his first head coaching job. RAYE-STOUT: This is a dark horse as far as everyone’s concerned. But that’s how Scott Skiles, that’s how Phil Jackson was found in those circles. So it’s not a horrible choice, we just have to see how it goes.
Raye-Stout says Del Negro is in a good situation because the Bulls have the first pick in the draft later this month. Del Negro will be officially introduced as head coach tomorrow afternoon.
