Governor Looking at Adjusting State's Gun Policies

Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich says he’ll look to adjust state gun control policies in response to a U.S. Supreme Court ruling. Thursday the court struck down Washington D.C.’s gun ban. Blagojevich says he disagrees with the opinion.

BLAGOJEVICH: Whether you’re the Governor, me, or Mayor Daley, it’s a big blow to those of us who believe in common sense gun laws. As a result, it’s the wrong decision.

The ruling calls into question a similar ban the city of Chicago established in 1982. Chicago Mayor Richard Daley says the city will fight any legal challenges to its own ban.
