Illinois Republicans are getting a festive welcome to the Twin Cities.
Illinois delegates are staying at the Millennium Hotel in Minneapolis and when you walk in the lobby, the first thing see is Scott Crosby. He’s got bushy white hair and bushy eyebrows and an old timey handlebar moustache. He’s wearing a washboard on his chest with all sorts of bells, woodblocks, whistles and cymbals attached to it. He plays in a local band with a bass player and a banjo player.
Crosby says his band is keeping pretty busy this week playing for different state delegations at the convention. On one day, they’ve got three gigs.
