Wind Advisory for Chicago Today

A wind advisory will go into effect later this morning across the Chicago area. The National Weather Service says northwest winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour are possible. Meteorologist Stephen Rodriguez says some gusts could get up to 50 miles per hour.

RODRIGUEZ: Higher blowing gusts or sustained winds can make driving difficult or any outside activities difficult. So kinda just want to make and be prepared of that.

The advisory is in effect from 10 AM to 7 tonight.
