Body Found Near Evanston School Identified

Family members of a 21-year-old Evanston man who was decapitated when a bomb went off in a park near an Evanston middle school say he killed himself. Family members said in a statement issued through a school district in Madison, Wis., say Colin Dalebroux committed suicide after suffering with depression for several years. Dalebroux went to school in Madison.

Evanston Police say their investigation is continuing and they have not determined if the death was an accident was an accident or a suicide. On Wednesday, an autopsy was conducted but the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said it had not been determined whether the death was a suicide or an accident. Dalebroux’s body was found near Nichols Middle School early Tuesday by a man walking his dog.
