Changing Gears: what's the size of success?

Life in this region has changed. Many of us made the machines that made the country work – and kept us in work. Not anymore. We’re changing gears into a new economy. What does the change look like where you live? Are you in a city that’s shrinking? A small town that??s holding on? Does the new economy live in your community?

Listen to our one hour special program from Changing Gears, a joint project of WBEZ in Chicago, Ideastream in Cleveland and Michigan Radio with broadcaster Katherine Lanpher. Guests include Richard Longworth from the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, University of Michigan economist Don Grimes and labor historian Kevin Boyle.
