Latin American Briefing Series: Manuel Sanchez on Mexico's recent road to stability

Mr. Manuel Sánchez is Deputy Governor of the Bank of México since May 2009. Before joining the Central Bank, he was Director of Valanza Mexico, the private equity unit of the BBVA Bancomer Financial Group. He joined this Financial Group in 1993 as Director of Financial Analysis and Investor Relations and during 1995-97 he was Director of Planning and Finance at this Group’s Service Banking Division. Afterward and until 2004 he was the Group’s Chief Economist.
