Afterpop: Fernández i Fernández

Afterpop: Fernández i Fernández

Agustín Fernández Mallo is a poet and author of the fictional trilogy Proyecto Nocilla (Nutella Project), and El hacedor (de Borges) Remake (The Maker (by Borges), a Remake). Eloy Fernández Porta is known for the biting cultural criticism of his essays like “Homo Sampler” and "€®O$". Together they form the spoken word duo Fernández i Fernández, who were among the new batch of storytellers that burst onto the scene in 2008 and have gone on to lead a major renovation of Hispanic literature in recent years. Afterpop is their raucous multimedia show that mixes high energy with spoken word, text, music, and video. They have performed on leading concert and literary stages all over Spain, in much of Latin America, and now finally in the U.S. Join us to experience why they are an undeniable point of reference in Spanish culture today.
