Cars travel along the inbound lane of the Kennedy Expressway near the Montrose Avenue exit as a train passes by while left lanes are closed for construction.

WBEZ wants to hear from you about how you’re getting around Chicago right now.

The roads are a mess. How are you getting around Chicago right now?

The Kennedy is under construction. Parts of the Blue Line have been closed some weekends. DuSable Lake Shore Drive has been backed up in the mornings. Oh, and every other road has a bulldozer and crane.

Lately, getting around Chicago has felt like an endurance test. On top of it all, gas prices are rising again and a few major summer events — like NASCAR — could snarl things more.

Put it all together and it can make day-to-day living in Chicago challenging. We want to know: How are you reacting? Are you taking a different commute to work these days? Have you ditched the car entirely or found a different bike route? Tell us in the form below or here. Your answers will help inform our reporting.
