Chicago History Museum showcases Ebony Fashion Fair

The Chicago History Museum has a new exhibit on the Ebony Fashion Fair, a traveling black charity fashion show that ran from 1958 to 2009. The show was, in large part, the work of Eunice Johnson of Ebony and Jet magazines fame. It featured designers from Yves Saint Laurent to Oscar de la Renta. The exhibit, “Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair,” runs through January. WBEZ’s Alison Cuddy and Natalie Moore share their impressions of the show. Photo: AP
