Segregation and integration in schools

It’s been fifty years since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said he had a dream that one day… “little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.” For most people, the place where that happens is in school. Joining us in studio to talk about school segregation and integration is WBEZ producer Becky Vevea and Emily McFarlan Miller, education reporter for The Courier-News. (Photo:Flickr/Image editor)
