Chicago transit and new urbanism

Chicago has always been known as a place for smart growth, urban planning and public transit. But we still have the same problem that transit activist, Benjamin Ross, has been grappling with for decades: how do we create the cities we desire? Ross is the author of 'Dead End: Suburban Sprawl and the Rebirth of American Urbanism.' He joins us in studio to talk about transportation, the end of the suburbs and new urbanism.
