Islamic militants continue to advance across Iraq, sweeping up much of the nation in violence and terror. Although there has been no order to intervene, the U.S. military has begun gathering its forces in the Persian Gulf and placing them on standby. The rapidly deteriorating situation in Iraq has been in the international spotlight for days. However, local Iraqi-Americans are also voicing their concerns about the future of Iraq.
