Denied the right to join the white Chicago Bar Association 100 years ago, a group of black attorneys decided to start their own. The Cook County Bar Association celebrates a century in existence. Attorney and past president of the Cook County Bar Association Geraldine Simmons talks about the association and how it’s looking forward to another 100 years.
