We profile the twenty-four year old organization, founded to bring jazz to the public and encourage people to use the music as a form of cultural and personal expression.

The annual JazzFest Heritage Music Weekend takes place August 6-7 at the South Shore Cultural Center—7059 South Shore Drive in Chicago.
