Labor Shortage in Illinois

More than 95% of people in the Chicago area have jobs.
 
That is good news—but, it turns out, not completely. 
 
Crain’s Chicago Business is reporting this week that the high employment rate has made it hard for employers to grow their businesses.
 
Employers are finding creative ways to keep people on—and be desirable enough to recruit more potential workers.
