What Your Snack Choices Say About You

Say you're standing in front of the vast array of snack foods at the supermarket.

The one you reach for–whether it's a bag of Ruffles or a can of nuts or some Cheetos–says more about you than just that you have the munchies.

The one you crave may even offer insight into your personality.

That's according to Dr. Alan Hirsch of the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation in Chicago.

He tested more than 18,000 to determine their personality type and then compared the results with their snack preferences.

He also tested how romantically compatible certain snack eaters were.

Here at Eight Forty-Eight, we were fascinated by this study.

So we visited him in his office and showed up with a little surprise.
