The Chicago band Local H made a name for itself in the heart of the alterna-rock 1990s. And as music has changed with the times, so has Local H. The group now returns with a new label and a new idea: a concept album. Eight Forty-Eight music critic Althea Legaspi has this peek into the anatomy of the band's soon to be released album, 12 Angry Months.
Local H will perform each of its albums and some rarities during a week-long residency at Chicago's Beat Kitchen that began yesterday. Their new album 12 Angry Months hits stores on May 13.
