Business Update

With the summer travel season having officially started over the weekend, the federal government has put a price tag on airport delays. A report out from Congress says the holdups cost the nation more than $40 billion last year. Of course, Chicago's O'Hare International holds the title of America's most delayed airport. And relief may still be a ways off. Chicago aviation officials say the planned opening of a new runway later this year won't reduce delays much. On top of that, O'Hare has a heap of other problems, from modernization delays to cutbacks at big carriers to an apparent rodent infestation.
