Actor Harvey Korman Dies at 81

Chicago native Harvey Korman, played the scheming Hedley Lamarr in Mel Brooks' 1974 classic Blazing Saddles. Brooks once said that he had real trouble working with Harvey. The problem? If their eyes met, that was it, the end of the take. Meaning they'd both be bent over with laughter. Cracking up his fellow cast members was a Korman trademark during his years on the Carol Burnett Show, for which he won four Emmys and a Golden Globe. Harvey Korman died yesterday in Los Angeles at the age of 81.
