Will the Circle Be Unbroken?

In 2001, Studs visited our studios to discuss his book, Will the Circle Be Unbroken: Reflections on Death, Rebirth, and Hunger for a Faith. The work features people from all walks of life sharing their own thoughts and stories about death. As with his other oral history projects, Studs set out with a tape recorder and a microphone to capture these stories, and we'll hear some of those recordings as Studs recounts speaking with people about their hopes and fears.

In this conversation with Steve Edwards, Studs recalls speaking with a man grappling with his own death.
