Novel Explores Cultural Dilemmas for Second-Generation Americans

In 2007, the memoir/essays of Stealing Buddha's Dinner won several awards, including best book of the year by the Chicago Tribune. Two years later, author Bic Min Win returned with the novel Short Girls. It explores the dynamics of an Asian-American family. Last August, Eight Forty-Eight's Book Reviewer Donna Seaman brought us this interview with Win.
