Illinois State Representative on Elections in Iraq

Democratic Illinois State Representative Susana Mendoza was one of seven American women sent by the National Foundation for Women Legislators to observe the recent Iraqi Elections. We talked with her before she left for Baghdad about how she prepared for the trip and what she was expecting to gain from the experience. Mendoza is now back from Iraq. We caught up with her recently, and she began by describing the morning of election day.
