Jonathan Miller Reviews Fantomas Films

In 1913 director Louis Feuillade started working on a series of films based on some popular French pulp novels. Nearly 100 years later the Fantômas films still influences the crime film genre. The series' protagonist is particularly striking, he commits atrocious acts without rhyme or reason. Now the films are available on DVD, for the first time in the U.S. Fantômas: The Complete Saga went on sale earlier this week.
