All hour long, DJ Major Taylor has been scratching and mixing up a pretty sweet blend of music. And when the Mayor’s not behind the decks, he’s behind the mic and guitar, playing in his band The Jai-Alai Savant. There, he goes by the name more familiar to his friends and family, Ralph Darden.
Five years ago Ralph and the band migrated here from Philadelphia. But he’s been rocking the turntables for about a decade now. Ralph comes out from behind the turntables to sit down in front of our mic and give us a bit of the 4-11 on his background.
