As the political tides shift in Washington, "Eight Forty-Eight" asked what it meant for Illinois legislators. Thursday, host Alison Cuddy spoke to Democratic Congressman Mike Quigley about the first day of the 112th U.S. Congress.

Friday, "Eight Forty-Eight" Republican Congressman Aaron Schock joined the conversation. Schock represents Illinois’ 18th district, in western Illinois. He assumed office in 2009 and served as Deputy Minority Whip. Schock also sits on the Ways and Means and House Administration committees.
