Does Chicago really need 50 aldermen?

Currently, there are 50 aldermen on city council—one for each ward. But according to one of "Eight Forty-Eight's" guests Monday, it could be smaller. A new analysis from the BGA says downsizing Chicago’s city council and consolidating wards could streamline city government and save taxpayers millions.
