A top Thai official said Tuesday that heavy rains forecast for the coming days could worsen floods in a mountain cave, forcing authorities to speed up their extraction of the 12 boys and the soccer coach who are trapped there. We get the latest from Michael Sullivan, who's covering the story for NPR. Also, Maya McKenzie was an intern at the Montgomery County Circuit Clerk's office in Alabama when she found a trove of legal documents — including a bail document signed by Martin Luther King Jr. And nine states and Washington, D.C. have now legalized recreational marijuana.
