Legendary Tropicalia band Os Mutantes back on the road after decades apart

In the mid 1960s, Brazilian musicians fused their native rhythms with those of Africa, tossed in some psychedelic rock ‘n' roll, and created Tropicalia. One of the biggest acts to come out of the Tropicalia scene was Os Mutantes. The band broke up in ‘78 but reunited 38 years later. The legendary band is on the road in support of their 2nd album since coming back together, and they join us for a live performance. Photo: Flickr/weeklydig
