World Cup fever increases sport’s popularity domestically

Brazil takes on Croatia Thursday in the opening match at the World Cup. World Cup fever is nothing new for countries abroad, but in the past soccer has failed gain the same fervent following in America as sports like football, basketball and baseball. But, that’s changing as more networks are showing matches, and more fans are watching. Ernesto Bruce from Adidas has an update from the Cup, and he explains why the sport is growing stateside.
