Sting’s latest music takes the stage

Most people know Gordon Sumner’s work as part of the group The Police, or as Grammy-winning solo artist Sting. His latest venture includes parts of his personal story. Sting has composed the music for the play now on stage at Bank of America Theatre, The Last Ship. The work is a portrait of Sting’s roots, an English shipbuilding town, that follows a character who returns home to conquer demons of his youth, and finds love in the process. Sting and Playwright John Logan join us to share more of the play’s origins, and how much of the story is inspired by the artist.
