Father Michael Pfleger of St. Sabina Church on Chicago’s South Side is demanding stores in Auburn-Gresham either hire African Americans from the neighborhood or face being shut down. Friday evenings are usually reserved by the Faith Community of Saint Sabina for peace walks throughout the area to help reduce violence. But last Friday, Pfleger had enough and the peace walk doubled as a call for more diversity at local businesses. The St. Sabina head pastor joins us to discuss his ultimatum to store owners.
