WBEZ 25: Jerome McDonnell and Worldview

25 years ago, WBEZ broke away from the Chicago Board of Education to become an independent public radio station. We’re celebrating the milestone in a variety of ways, including a web site featuring some of the most compelling conversations from the last quarter century. Many of those conversations took place on the show Worldview. Worldview is a very rare animal in radio — it’s a locally-produced program that focuses on global affairs. Jerome McDonnell has hosted the show for more than two decades. He joins us to talk about how the show and coverage of stories from around the world has evolved since it all began.
