Privacy and Digital Assistants: Is Alexa Recording You?

Many of us use digital assistants these days. Maybe you call her Alexa. Maybe she goes by Siri. Perhaps you depend on Cortana. 

From telling you the weather for the day to ordering you an Uber to get to the airport, some of these devices are highly useful. But in the age of smart gadgets, are people compromising privacy for convenience? Morning Shift talks to David Pierce, senior staff writer at Wired Magazine covering personal technology.
