Blogging the Public in Public Radio

I recently found a couple of great blogs devoted the listening of public radio. Radio Sweethearts is written by the good cop/bad cop team of Matthew Trisler and Kerry Crawford. They bring you reviews and recaps of This American Life and On the Media (and numerous other shows). The other blog is Public Radio Redux, written by Erin Mishkin and Jen Nathan, both of whom have experience working in the Public Radio world. They describe the blog as a curated list of stories “that make you turn and look at your speakers.” And if that’s not enough - for some inside baseball news, check out the industry newspaper, Current.org. They have in-depth features on both Public Radio and TV and they a keep a blog of pubcasting news tidbits. Happy reading.
