Thursday Podcast: Thomas Keller: The Fan Line Interviews

Usually when a big-time chef comes through Chicago on a book tour, I’ll get a call from the publicist a few weeks ahead of time, and they’ll send out a copy for me to read through, so I’m able to do a more informed interview.‚ Well, when Artisan was preparing to send Thomas Keller on the road to promote “Ad Hoc at Home,” they blew me off.‚ So since I was unable to have any time with the chef and owner of The French Laundry, I crashed his book signing at Borders (next door to ABC 7, as if that wasn’t bad enough) and talked with some of his fans in line.
