Indie pop phenom Best Coast stopped by our studios in September to record a few songs for Sound Opinions. You can hear the interview on this week’s episode- airing on WBEZ Friday at 8 P.M., Saturday at 11 A.M. and Wednesday (11/10) at 11 A.M.
Bethany Consentino’s breezy songs about boys and beaches earned the #36 place on Billboard’s Top 200 chart for her debut album Crazy For You. The record was a perfect fit for summertime listening, though the jury is still out on if it can help keep us warm through a Chicago winter.
