Chicago mayoral candidate Rahm Emanuel was asked by a local reporter about the swirling controversy over privatizing the summer festivals and quite possibly charging admissions to the larger festivals, like Taste of Chicago.

Emanuel says nothing of interest. But just the fact that he goes on record over the story that we broke at the Vocalo blogs is more than we could have asked for. We thank the local reporter for reading DeRogatis’ work and for the favor of asking the question on behalf of the Vocalo blogs. Thank you, from all of us.
