Been Waiting For A Verizon iPhone? Then This Looks To Be Your Big Day

Just in case you haven’t heard by now:

Verizon Wireless is expected to announce Tuesday morning that it will start selling a version of the Apple iPhone that will run on its network, our friends at All Tech Considered (and, to be fair, lots of other news outlets) write.

The announcement is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET.

Have questions about how much it will cost, whether it will be like the iPhones that AT&T sells and if it will run on Verizon’s 4G network? All Tech has some of the answers.

The Wall Street Journal, which has been covering the Verizon/iPhone news pretty thoroughly in recent months, this morning looks at how AT&T will respond. Suffice it to say that the ad battles will be hot. Copyright 2011 National Public Radio. To see more, visit http://www.npr.org/.
