Private Australian company buys controlling stake in Chicago Skyway

The Chicago Skyway will now be managed by the Australian company Atlas Arteria, which owns and operates toll roads in Europe and the United States. In 2005, Chicago leased the Skyway to private shareholders. The shareholders can buy or sell, but the city has to remain in the agreement for 99 years.
