By Meha AhmadWhat’s Chance the Snapper been up to lately?
After Block Club Chicago first broke the story of the strange reptile hanging out in the Humboldt Park Lagoon in early July, the little alligator took the media by storm and captured the hearts of its residents.

Gator Watch was a thing.
There was an online poll to name him.
Chance the Snapper even has his own merch.
But after little more than a week, Chance was caught by expert trapper Frank Robb and transported to the good life in Florida, at St. Augustine Zoo, where the rogue reptile has been settling in and gaining some notoriety in recent weeks.
