Chicago Could Break Record For Longest Cold Snap

Chicago has lived through its fair share of cold weather, so it may come as a surprise that the city is on track to break a record this week. If the temperature doesn’t reach above 20 degrees by Saturday — and it’s not expected to — the city will have spent 12 days with temperatures below 20.
