Is the independent bookstore thriving, or just surviving?
While some independent bookstores are closing their doors, new ones are arriving on the scene. Does the decline of big-box booksellers like Borders and Barnes & Noble create an opening for the little guy, or is Amazon the “one seller to rule them all”? We talk with a couple of entrepreneurs opening a new shop, and John Mutter, an industry expert, about this shift.
