A Public Discussion About 'The View From Room 205'

On Thursday, education sociologist Eve Ewing and WBEZ reporter Linda Lutton hosted a public discussion about "The View From Room 205," a radio documentary Lutton produced after spending months with a fourth-grade class on Chicago's West Side.

Lutton, Ewing and audience members spoke about the social issues highlighted in the story: poverty, race, education and the American Dream. Press play above to hear full audio of the event.
